Walking/Waiting
|
"In my room, the world is beyond my understanding,
But when I walk I see that it consists of three or four hills and a cloud." - Wallace Stevens One of the supreme pleasures of living in a city is walking. I don't drive. I can drive but I've made a conscious decision to walk or use public transit. My feet on the pavement, or my Bart commute from 16th street to Millbrae and back, keep me in touch with the pulse of the city. Public transit invariably involves some waiting. So some things that caught my attention while I was walking/waiting. |
